How do you price a job?
Prices are not determined solely by square footage measurements or by hourly rates, nor can accurate estimates be given over the phone. Our experienced estimators are committed to giving you the best and most honest price, which means tailoring every painting estimate to your paintjob specifications.2.
Are paint and job materials included in estimated price?
At Paintsmith Décor, our estimates break down paint and job materials into separate line items from our labour costs. Our estimators use calculated formulas to determine how much paint and paint materials your paint job will require. We also believe in doing the job right. Should we require more paint and paint supplies than originally estimated, we will discuss the changes to your work order prior to commencing any more work. Paintsmith Décor will pick-up all paint supplies at no additional charge to the client.3.
Do you give colour consultations?
At Paintsmith Décor, we offer a 30 Minute Complementary Colour consult with every signed contract. Should you require a more extensive colour consult, our colour consultant will meet you at your residence to discuss other decorating options. Please note that this service is an additional charge separate from the estimated labour price.4.
What brand and quality of paint do you use?
Paintsmith Décor uses only the highest quality of General Paint, Benjamin Moore, Cloverdale Paints and Dulux Paints.5.
What preparations do we, the clients, need to make before painting commences?
Paintsmith Décor will provide each of its clients a 'Terms and Conditions' sheet prior to painting that outlines the responsibilities of the client. Should you have any further questions, please ask us directly.6.
